Seriously i loved the film Pefume thought it was a beautiful artistic film, however, i was just sitting in here thinking WTF!! the guy in it is a bit of a sick pervert really and the other thing i dont get and doesnt make any sense is why the hell isn't he constantly vomiting, sure he smells all these amazing scents and they are all beautiful and the scents of nature blah blah. but lets not forget he was living in a time where people threw there shit outta the window when they'd finished and personal hygiene wasnt the main concern. he smelt the ginger chick like 4 miles away no problem so what if some farted next to him? Did he just get off on it or what? SICK!

Yeah i believe the book is really good and very similar to the film but more violent. I am borrowing it from a friend next week.

haha yes because we all know that Hollywood films, video games, and violent books are to blame for the insanity of a small portion of mankind. I mean during the dark ages people were playing the likes of man hunter and GTA3 constantly!!

Le parfum? I read the book as a child, i don't remember it was anything violent even with such a subject.

or maybe he just liked the smell of vomit and shit and such. Since he is i freak (if he cant stop smelling everything) i think he finds every smell very interesting
