Rush For Berlin (c) Deep Silver * SF CloneDVD *
Release date: 26/05/06
Retail date: 05/06/06
Releasetype: DVD
Protection: Starforce
File Type: mdf/mds
Gametype: Strategy
From the creators of Codename: Panzers, Rush For Berlin is a tactical real
time strategy game, set on the European battlefields of World War II,
during 1944-45. The player's goal; to capture the German capital, as either
the British/US/French alliance or the Red army of the Soviet Union. The act
symbolizes the total defeat of the Third Reich and means the end of the war
on the European continent. Players face more and more challenges, as they get
closer to the capital. The game is based on historical facts and gives wide
possibilities for changing history and playing an alternative reality.
Features:
Play a historical timeline or an alternate World War II reality.
Time is running out, as forces 'Rush' to capture Berlin.
Improved GEPARD graphics engine: further developed graphics and game engine
ensures top notch graphical, sound and video quality.
More than 100 units, including fictional ones.
Fully destructible buildings, graphical feedback on the landscape, structures
and units on fire create an atmosphere comparable to the greatest war movies.
The highly detailed damage model allows partial loss of functionality and various
attack strategies (e.g. tank attacks from the rear). The Computer opponent will
react accordingly.
Officers (heroes) are a special unit type. Their special abilities affect more
units, so they are powerful, but most of the time not mission critical
(they can die without losing the level.)
Soldiers can enter buildings and indoor fire-fights are possible.
Air support and reinforcements can be asked by the player with special units.
Day and night, weather effects all affect hearing and sight conditions making
new strategies possible.
Install Notes:
1) unpack
2) mount with deamon tools v4
3) unplug all ide drives
4) install
5) play

Release doesnt work. The mds-file doesnt even have DPM. Even with correct DPM it would not run since it is SF 3.7.16.xx and this version of SF has disabled any kind of emulation and even Raid, USB, Firewire, Sata and SCSI RMPS-copies. So just wait for a crack, a new version of Daemontools or a workaround like SFcure.

According to some people even RMPS through a SCSI-drive has been blacklisted. Also several people confirmed that burning Rush for Berlin without any RMPS works using this media:
1. Platinum DVD+RW (Mediacode: RICOHJPNW11)
2. Sony DVD+RW (Mediacode: RICOHJPNW11)
Maybe other media works too, but I am not willing to test that for this mediocre game.

Additional:
Our release of Rush For Berlin gave some people questions.
We didn't include dpm information in mds file because this is
completely useless since rmps emulation have been blocked by
the used version of starforce 3.7.16.x even using scsi drives.
Still this release without rmps have been tested at some
systems and seems to load mounted with latest version of
deamon tools.
Also we are known of the fact that some systems doesn't pass
the cd check of starforce.
We don't have a solution for this problem at this moment but
when we have we will release a fix.
Then it has also been confirmed that burning this release
without any rmps emulation will work with some burners
we tested with the Sony dvd+rw and a Verbatim dvdr-rw.
WHAT THE FU.. Is wrong with these guys
game do not work and say another where is the serial fo this game ?? (no a request)
LAMEEEEEEEEEE CRIME !!!!!!!#$^$%$%@%@#%U&^
ps any body played it ????

OK, I burned the image on varbatim dvd-rw (quite used one) at 2x (LG GSA-4163b) with Alcohol with NO rmps emulation.
When i start the game, sf tries to verify dvd for couple of minutes.
After that it tells me its impossible to verify the dvd, and asks me to put the orginal dvd in the drive.
When i click retry - there are two options:
- to check the dvd again (with the old key - which I never was asked about before)
- to enter the new key (acquired from technical support)
Any1 got further?
PS.
I can't find any key...
I didn't unplug my other drive (cdrw one).
