Ok I can't believe im posting this picture...such a blasphemy....but it was the picture that made me think holy shit this movie would be fuckin awsome if it fell into the right directors hands.

 Spoiler:

Now, what director (name some of his/her movies as well) do you think could pull this wicked game off as a movie. And who could you see as the lead role as alice. I personally wouldn't be able to picture anyone else other than my buddy nicky but ya.....

discuss....

ya I dunno if it's permenant though. Diesel was supposed to play hitman Rolling Eyes but that changed, it pissed alot of people off, so I believe she'll get thrown off the cast hoepfully

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0466663/

christina ricci would pull it off perfectly

i hope you burn for that image, dude Very Happy

i LOVED this game, the atmosphere was brilliant... and was quite excited when i first heard about this project a few years back... it was the hugest shame ever when i heard they were going to be butchering it by putting that no talent stupid bitch in the lead role. she cant act, and no, she doesnt even LOOK all that hot...

it should either have been cgi, or they should have gone with emily browning as alice. ricci IS a nice choice too, but come on, browning is perfect.

Emily was perfect, she's doesn't have the same look any more, A Series of Unfortunate Events was over 3 years ago.

As for Gellar, she can act. She's just no good for this kind of character. This is Ricci's bread and butter role, she's built her career on it. Thats why I think she'd be no good, it needs something fresh in my opinion.

A less established actress would be better I think.

Although of course either Emily or Ricci would be a far better choice then Gellar.

smg's entire acting talent is based around her showing her tits off. she should just stick to teen comedies so i dont run into any of her movies by accident Very Happy

mmm He'd have to do somethign different than, this game was all about a demonic atmosphere, Tim Burton can do some cool stuff but this would require some gore, blood and decapitation in which I don't beleive tim burton has really ever done. I think his only creepy movie he ever did was edward scissors hands and that wasn't even all that creepy.

I had the idea of the little girl from beetle juice....had no effin idea that was winona ryder....scratch that one out lol

i think the most important aspect of the game was not the gore, but the whole surrealistic twisted nature of it... very dark and distorted, who better to actually do that? burton is a man who has never compromised when it comes to making pretty twisted films.

but if we had tim burton, you can bet that the cat wouldnt be cgi. it'd be johnny depp in a cat costume... how freakin cool would that be, haha.

fact is, with someone like smg in it, you know its going to be aimed at all those buffy fan geeks, all the teen gits, so its basically going to be a safe film. they really should have brought in an uknown director and group of actors so that they could have taken more risks and had a bit more freedom with it.

This movie would be pretty damn good played on a Green Screen like 300 and Sky Captain of Tomarrow. Though I'll keep my fingers crossed that someone high up will notice that we don't like SMG and get someone else.

You need Jim Carrey as the cat (either that or the Mad Hatter). Laughing

Neither SMG nor Ricci would do for Alice, they're not twisted enough (though admitedly Ricci comes somewhat close).

Also, I vote for Monica Bellucci as The Queen (Brother's Grim flashback Very Happy).

I also think Ricci would be perfect for this role, for she looks exactly like Alice in the game.
