i've been encountering several problems with games i have...
Titan Quest Inmortal Throne and STALKER shows some "Stretches" at it's textures...
like,a character's face is stretched on it's right side when u watch him close..or some walls or small objects are ok except for these stretchy things..
besides of that,both Titan Quest IT and STALKER CRASHES when things like that happend...i mean,the pc FREEZES,GAME SCREEN FROZEN,every process is stopped (like when i'm downloadin' stuff,the internet modem's lights stops blinkin' and i have to reboot the pc...i had that..and i wanna kill it ><
Before it happend sometimes with Splinter Cell Double Agent,but didn't crashed..now it goes really hard,and i'm afraid my PC is being owned by weird stuff..
I've made a MEMTest and it shown no errors after 1 pass
My Rig:
Pentium D 3Ghz
2GB DDR2 RAM
2 HDD's (500GB and 300GB)
nVidia EN7900GT 256MB PCI-Express
Win XP
Even if the game is set on Medium or High,it crashes..
Any solutions?,nVidia's card is updated to latest driver..

Could be an overheating issue on either the cpu or the vid card.. try monitoring the temps

my pc might be noisy while playing games or just a bit when it's about loading the media player or other stuff,but never happend 2 me before...now yes..but i dun think it's overheating..
