Ok I'm sure everyone here is aware of sales going on everywhere to help there 2009 sales.

I am looking to buy Company of Heroes and the complete pack is $34.97, but if I buy Company of Heroes Gold (CoH & CoH: Opposing Fronts) $14.99 the last game Tales of Valor is on sale for 50% off only $14.99 which would make a total of $29.98.

Puzzles me why the complete pack is $4.99 more, what's the point of this?

Why care? Just buy whichever is cheaper.

Well I was wondering if there is any difference - if anyone here might know...

Is there a difference from a bundled game from a separate game in steam?

Usually a bundled "pack" is all the separate titles in the same purchase, sometimes during discounts buying all of them separately will be cheaper. Smile
(Normally as a single purchase to improve the tax costs or what it might be called.)

Yeah but on Steam there is no taxes. Looks like a goof up on Valve's part to me.

I'd like to know how the ID super pack doesn't include Quake 4.

Probably because it was developed by Raven Software instead of ID, might be other things behind it as well like publishing rights and so on.
