And don't mention the bigger titles like 'The Witcher', 'Jade Empire' and more of such titles cuz I played all those. I am more looking for the little gems that didn't quite hit the mainstream. Would really like so see a game with many items and sort of topdown view like Titan Quest or something.
Lemme know k,
thnx

RPG's are my favorite type of game ... I can strongly recommend:
Top down view:
Temple of Elemental Evil
Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor (older, but runs well with all patches installed)
1st person view:
Dark Messiah of Might & Magic
Arx Fatalis
Gothic (I, II, III)

How about Sacred (+ expansion), or Neverwinter Nights?

Fallout 1 and 2
Arcanum
Planescape: Torment
If you haven't tried NWN2 you might wanna give that a go. I'm not very fond of the original campaign, but the expansion pack (Mask of the Betrayer) is very good.

Here's one you may not have heard of before:
Depths Of Peril.
Great little indie game. I bought it the other day. Really fun and unique.
Heres the web page:
http://www.soldak.com/Depths-of-Peril/Overview.html
Note: Manual is located on the web site. Would do well to look it over before you try it so you understand what is going on.
Can't wait till they add multiplayer. THAT will rock.
Has a demo as well.

it is available on Usenet, but it is an old version. I wanted to be able to get the updates and stuff... plus I htought they deserved the money once I played the game. Think the version I found was 1.03 and it is up to 1.09 I do believe.
I have a soft spot when it comes to indie.

I second that. Chrono Trigger is one of the best rpgs on any system. Even people that normally hate jrgs love it. Play it on zsnes and enable hq4x filter and you’ll even have great graphics.

agreed. sacred seems to be what the OP is looking for.
similar to titan quest.. one of the best diablo clones out there.
sacred 2 is coming this year and it's looking pretty good as well.

if it doesnt need to be a pc game, you should really try the psx, snes and gba games with an emulator.
just found this site, which seems to have all the rpg games for all platforms with screens etc. : http://www.rpgfan.com/reviews.html
Enthoo Evolv ATX TG // Asus Prime x370 // Ryzen 1700 // Gainward GTX 1080 // 16GB DDR4-3200

yeah you'r right Acron, i should really get myself a console so I can switch between console and pc when things are down, and at the moment PC is just dead as far as gaming is concerned:( Only PC title I am dying for right now is GTA4, when thats released I know I will be hooked for atleast 2 months, but those kinda games are few and far between. When you look at it GTA is a kind of RPG as well cuz you got quests, you can tune your car, get better gear and shit.

It's strange that you should say that GTA 4 is about the only game on the PC that I'm looking forward to being released and as yet (as far as I'm aware) there is no confirmed release date. PC gaming is dying a death atm and needs a serious shakeup.
