Does anyone know how to save flash movies from video.google.com or youtube.com to your hard drive. I've spent all night trying to save some of the clips using all the methods out there including third party software and plugins (also the temporary folder method) but the only file I kept downloding was a 109 bytes .swf file. Any ideas?

I always use the Unplug add-on for Firefox. It works for most websites too. Always works for Youtube.

can anyone figure out how to save the flash movies at www.southparkzone.com I tried but couldn't get it done.

Unplug works for that, but you have to choose the correct links. Got it right the first time though. Downloading the flv files now ! Nice site btw.

I found this little program called Replay Media Catcher which saves the movie as it streams to your pc. Amazing little program without any hassle I was able to save and convert the flash movies.
