Hello *.
I got some thoughts about the question that floating around since 3mar07 - when TDU has appeared in retail stores and DID NOT appear as real cracked version, the only EMUDVD, as you all have seen.
MIGHT BE publishing companies have a (huge, long term) contacts with those pir8 groups to ask them to NOT release real cracked version of (here) TDU, for some time - week, two, three. We all have seen the same shit with Red Faction-2 when cracked version appearance happened after 3.5 weeks since game initial retail store release and - there was some "usual" protection, not being compared to k-rad Xpand rally when ppl from Ultima decided to rewrite installer from the scratch...
What do you think about it, * ?

Does it even matter? It's as easy as mounting the image on Daemon and using YASU...

Why the fuck would you want a crack when you got a clone?
Clone > Crack
I hate you.

Give me detailed information what YASU does, plz.
And yes, I prefer normal crack from famous and respected groups like RLD instead of running some shit and disconnecting all my drives etc;)

YASU changes the permissions of some registry keys so that safedisc and securom can't check out your drives and see if they are real or emulated. Otherwise you would get "Emulation software detected"
It also hides ide drives, so that SCSI drives are necessarily used (all virtual drives are SCSI) Otherwise you would get the message "Insert the dvd in another drive" and you would have to disconnect your real drives.
EDIT: It only fiddles with the registry.

Maybe a few years ago, even more respected earlier. But now...
