GTA: San Andreas PC confirmed - briefly

Take-Two Interactive Software announced financial results for its third quarter and nine months ended July 31, 2004. The report also confirms that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be released on the PC platform. GTA: San Andreas PC is currently slated for release in fiscal Q3 2005! Take-Two's fiscal third quarter runs from May 1 to July 31, 2005, so the game should arrive in that time frame.
Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, the third installment in the multi-million unit selling, genre-defining Midnight Club racing franchise developed by Rockstar San Diego, is planned for release on PlayStation 2 and Xbox in January 2005. The Warriors, a new title based on the Paramount Pictures feature film, is scheduled for launch on PlayStation 2 in April 2005. Additional products planned for fiscal 2005 from Rockstar Games include Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for PC in the third quarter, as well as two new console titles based on proven brands from Rockstar's internal studios, in the third and fourth quarters. Rockstar also plans to release Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in Japan in fiscal 2005.

good news but another 9 months. i hope they add some new features such as Online playability, new missions and BETTER GRAPHICS!!

someone did a mod for vice city that let you go online and play the game as death match.

Because it's easier to make games for consoles and the big names pay big bucks to get the games exclusively to their console for a limited time. THat's why.

I hope the guys from Multi Theft Auto won't stand still and finish 'MTA blue' (for Vice City) when SA arrives on the PC...maybe they can adjust MTA quickly to play with SA

sif buy a PS2 for this game.
the diff between the ps2 and pc version of Vice city was MASSIVE..

i know about MTA, but i did think that it lacked gameplay. but a company as skilled as rockstar could work on that platform and fix it. or give the rights to the creators of MTA.
