I was having problems getting this game to work with YASU. It kept asking to insert original disk and not backup.
I came across this little gem from a guy called Phazed. I tested it out of desperation, and it friggin worked! Although I am gutted I went through all the effort. This game is seriously bugged man. Do Atari ever release a game that is actually fucking playable on release without a load of pissing about? Sheesh! Anyway, if you want to see how crap it is...
Finally got the game to work.
1. Mount with latest Daemon Tools.
2. Install game.
3. Copy files from the 'program files' folder on the mounted image to the relevent install files at C:\Program Files\Atari
4. Delete Paul.dll from C:\Program Files\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited
5. Disconnect from internet.
6. Run YASU.
7. Start game and enter serial ***** when prompted.
lol looks like this dll is the emu finding progii ... anyway dark_matter the only problems with this game have users that have 2 core processors like Dualcore and AMD X2 , this was the biggest bug with the beta that was reported several times ... but looks like they only fixed the Ati texture corruption and the sound problems , forgetting about the biggest problem of them all
Heh, i think 99% of people who buy TDU have good PCs to be able to actually play and enjoy it and of course most of them have 2 core processors. I dont know what kind of idiots work in Atari if they left this bug in the final release.

theres also alot of people who still think their radeon 9800 pro and amd XP/pentium 4 will still suffice.
