what is the best type of dvd-r disc`s to use and is it better to use dvd-r disc with a darker purple dye .

i got told the purple / ritek dyes are the best, depends which drive you have as well. I have a philips and it isnt the greatest

So far Verbatim dvd-r have worked in all drives for me
