Hi everyone I am new here so please be nice to me Rolling Eyes
Ok the problem.. Ive downloaded few movie releases (miami vice imbt unrated and miami vice hddvdrip from Dic) and they all have some rars or even entire movie files(second release) corrupted! when I open the files with wordpad it says something like RIFF82..AVILIST.. hdrlavih8 .
oh and these releases were downloaded from piratebay and torrentportal. So whats the problem? Why is this happening?

This happens when you download movies from public torrent sites Wink

Yeah but this is something new.. 2 different releases, 2 different torrent sites and same problem... and I have no access to private torrent sites so I have no choice but to use public sites Crying or Very sad

Why are you opening the files (rars,entire iso? ) with Wordpad?

I'm not trying to paint you as stupid, but I figured I should ask to be 100% sure that your not.. You are waiting for the files to fully download? As in, after loading the torrent into the torrent client, your giving it a chance to complete?

Yes, I download them first then when I try to extract the movie file I get the message which says that one of the rars is either unknown format or damaged.

That's very odd as torrents have built in error checking. So long as the source is completely intact when the torrent is made, the ending downloaded files should be exactly the same.. regardless. I would suggest you either try another source, or start the torrent back up to see if it can repair the files.

Ok a quick google search revealed this and this It seems that some idiot is uploading fake torrents Crying or Very sad
