here i am back with another question.
some of you will remember my doubts about buying 2 8800 gtx.
well, i think 1 og it will be enough.
BUT, BUT, BUT....

what if i'd buy also:

AGEIA ASUS PHYSX-P1 - 256 mb?
(a graphic processor unit)

is it a waste of bucks or what?
anyone out there gotta this baby?

any kind of suggestion will be accepted, of course....

ok i got one question too, now u got your fancy pc with uber expensive gfx card & maybe this ageia card and u payed about i dunno 2k for all this stuff
what exactly are u planning to play now or in next 6 month that will require this kinda hw power?
i just don't understand why ppl building this kinda pc's just to play old games or u believe that with vista u will get more console ports? so get console ffs Razz

Waste of bucks, for sure... You have almost no games supporting it and performance dropdowns in those that do. The 8800 has some programable features that if used correctly can be used fro physics calculations, so I think you should be fine with 8800 in the near future.

yep, u're right...
but that damn brand-new game named "wolfenstein 3d" needs so much hw...
anyone heard of it?
gotta be bundled with that other brand-new-game named "doom" or something like that, now i do not remember well......

yes or not.

we all know that making a new rig or buying new hw pieces every 6 months is a waste of bucks, but...well...we're all gamerz, right?
and we want more and more.
better talking and explaining it:
I want more framerate and quality.
