Well, iv got a problem with my wireless SMC adapter. It keeps disconnecting randomly when im downloading. It could also be normal downloads from http sites. The signal strength is the same until i loose my IP. Can't be settings in the router...

Anyone know anything about this?

Mine does the same thing when I'm using a lot of bandwidth. I found out first it was the drivers, so I got some hacked ones, and those fixed it, then the router started caving after 2 straight days of over 1mb/sec downloading. I had to buy a new one of those.

I got some advice once about changing wireless channel for the same problem... seemed to work Smile

perhaps there is interference from another wireless router, or even a 2.4 ghz cordless phone?

Well, i just take a little trip in my car... people kinda look strange at me when iv got a laptop on my lap in my car tho.

Anyway back to my other PC; well, iv got the latest drivers, iv stopped the WZN thing (a guy told me that could work).

I know its not the signal strength, but the router was very near a wall and metal.. that ain't to good. But the channel is fine. Ill just see if it DC now /using a lot BW.
