I installed a downloaded WinXP Pro corp. edition.
I'm wondering if there's any way for me to download updates for windows via "Windows Update" or the Microsoft website without it being detected as not legit.
Thanks for any help.

Yea, I'm trying to avoid that.
I read about this WGA crack thing. And I got one and I installed it, but it didnt work.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Is there some kind of process to this?

There's another trick... I will not post the required files for it, NOR WILL I SEND THEM TO YOU IN PM, but I'll describe it here: There's a reg file circulating the net, that when executed replaces temporarely the license with a valid one (it's still valid for now, I guess MS are not really interested in XP anymore). After a restart you get the old non-wga license, though, so keep the reg file. Google is you friend, that's how I found it.
