Does anyone know a way to change the gamepad deadzone in Biohazard 4?

Only way I know of is by using the 'pinnacle game profiler' to reconfigure your gamepad. It's a free download but time limited to 30 days. Apparantly it is still supposed to work after the 30 day trial but I can't confirm that.
