lol, that was fast. This game was released a month ago, and they are already trying to draw people. WoW is killing the MMORPG scene.

It's a nice game, but sadly lacking much content at present. Doesn't take long to get to level 10 (cap at present) and then there is nothing to do. They are supposed to be raising the level cap, but the next patch is just content, which means if you do the new content your going to be wasting experience as each time you do a quest the experience gained decreases till you get 0 exp for it (as the experience you can get in DDO is finite).
I would suggest that any serious gamer planning on playin DDO should hold off for 6 months or more as there may be enough content to keep you playing. However, for the casual gamer who doesnt power play then it is a nice game to play for a couple of hours here and there.

Not sure, I would assume you will have to start again as this character is on the US servers, not the european.

Good job, you really hurt me with that one. I think I'm wounded.
Now please, go back to masturbation.
The point was, the Turbine server allows Turbo Download Them All, and has excellent speeds with it. I'm going to read some more people's opinions on this game though, I'm not sure if I want to try this game. If you can't get it to work via proxy, PM me.

Game is going to be free-to-play but will introduce micro transactions.
Code: | Turbine has updated the official Dungeons & Dragons Online website to inform the masses that DDO Unlimited will launch this summer…completely for free. The list of features accompanying the DDOU launch includes a new class, level cap raised to 20, and the new DDO store. |

Code: | While Turbine intends to turn MMORPG Dungeons & Dragons Online into a free-to-play title in the US, there are no current plans to do the same in Europe, according to regional publisher Codemasters.
A digital upgrade for the game titled Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited will go live this summer in North America, allowing new users to play for free and purchase content via micro-transactions.
"To clarify, for the time being, DDO Europe will not be assuming this new business model and the European DDO game service will remain a monthly subscription-based game with all new content created available to all subscribers, as has been the model up until now," said Codemasters in a statement.
"As the beta progresses we will release more information regarding the future plans for EU players," added the publisher. |

What`s the point to allow only u.s. residents to play a TRIAL of a completely free game? WTF? I mean it`s not even a full commercial game?
