I have a question ... I want to setup a home network where my files from all machines can be shared. Now this is not hard and everything works fine vie ethernet. I was wondering if there was a way for my laptop, which is connected wireless to be on a home network without beeing physically plugged into my router?

I was not able to find any tutorials about this either

The wireless AP/router needs to plug into the wired router and they all need to run on the same IP addressing scheme (subnet). Simple as that.

ERrm.. well if your PC plugs into your modem/wireless then they are on the same network. You simply need to make sure the wireless network and physical network are on the same subnet. What's your physical IP? What's your wireless IP?

Start --> Run --> CMD --> ipconfig /all
