Hey guys,
I have had a wii since launch day and have not been online with it yet. I have had some problems with my wii, like some games crash and it seems like my wii's fan does not spin anymore. Anyway a friend said that maybe if you go online and update the firmware the problems may go or he said just send it back to Nintendo for a fix. Well i have not done any of those two things my friend suggested, because i had this feeling that some hacker may create some drive firmware crack a la Xbox 360. So i thought once nintendo may of fixed the problem then it may be harder to hack or i thought that once i update the firmware then it may be harder to crack or even not possible anymore to crack to play backups. Now that the cyclowiz and wiinja modchips have been released i think nintendo may release a online firmware update to counter the chip, so would you recommend me to go online and update my firmware (hopefully Nintendo have not made a patch to counter these new modchips yet) and see if that fixes my problems and then if my games still crash send it back to nintendo, what are your thoughts guys?

well stainy
i don't really want to update the wii unless i really have to, i haven't yet as i thought there may be a way to for a hacker to make a cracked firmware, which only works on original firmware released with the console from launch day.
should i update the firmware through the online mode?
will all hackers find a way to flash the firmware with a cracked firmware or even create a better modchip that would work with any version firmware of the wii?

Everyone but everyone has upgraded... the news channel, opera browser.. you can`t get around it... unless you don`t want any of the new stuff..
