I know, I know, it's not exactly new, but I just bought this compilation and I can't get the 1.02 patch for it to run. Doubleclick on the file and nothing happens. 1.01 update went through just fine. Any ideas on how I can fix this would be appreciated.

Have you checked on the processes whilst you run the patch?
Is the 1.02 a critical patch?

well it fixes quite a few missing sound/music bugs and yes I have checked the processes tab in the task manager if that's what you meant. The file shows as a service belonging to my user account and then another thread belonging to "local service", both dissappear after about 3 to 5 seconds and nothing else happens. Tried rebooting, oh yeah, Im running XP 32bit, forgot to mention that.

Hmm is the installer the same type as the previous patch?

nevermind, i got it working. Once you start the update file, it magically appears as a copy in the support subfolder under the main game folder, and the copy in that subfolder works just fine *shakeshead*
