Hi there
I am looking from a program and maybe you guys could help.

I want a program which would rename my music files with the actual title without me typing in the song name.
Like I have a folder with 01 - Track01.mp3 ; 02 - Track 02.mp3 ... and i don't want to rename all the files one by one.
So I would say to the program what the album title is, and it would go look on amazon or whatever to rename the files according to the track number, see?
that would be really helpful.

Cheers to anyone who can help

Google hum Rolling Eyes why didn't I think about it?
I must be really stupid! I get over one million hits just by typing "rename music files". Now if I can't find what I am looking for with that, no one can help me... You know what I will start downloading EVERY SINGLE SOFTWARE IN THIS LIST RIGHT NOW!!! I guess I will find a software fulfilling my needs within the next 35 years.

I am deeply sorry to have bothered you by posting in this over-active section of the forum.

It is easy to google to find a definition or some info about something. To choose from 100 softwares doing the same thing without installing all of them, that's what of forum is for: to share your experience.

For posterity, I tried this one and it works great Tag&Rename

lol don't take it like that, to be a member on this board you have to learn to take things as a joke, otherwise mom is going to be upset and your gf will leave you for the stress this site has caused lol. Stick around you'll see what I mean, other than that this place is great to get help.

File organization: You can now rename multiple audio files using patterns like %artist% - %title%. You can also use the feature to move files to specified folders. These features are great for organizing your music collection.
