When I try to open the game it starts loading as I see a black screen and then all of the sudden it crashes.

EDIT: The problem was fixed by a patch from UBI, but now I am getting weird graphics, my specs are as follows:

8800GTX
core 2 E6600
2 gigs of memory

How did you even get it to start? I have the same system...8800 GTX, 2 gigs...dual core 2 6600.

when I click on the game..it immeadiately crashes. Never see anything except a quick flicker on the screen.

What settings are you running at? Maybe its my monitor settings?

Which patch from UBI? 1.02?

Please let me know...dying to play this one. you would think a $600 plus video card would be able to play this game.

I think your card is unsupported as for now. Nice huh? Razz

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

it's supported, I found out how to do it, use patch 1.02, latest drivers for the 8800

However, to run it, you must run it from the actual executable game file and not the application where you choose single player and multiplayer. You must use the " -ll " argument when running it. So you run it like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent\SCDA-Offline\System\SplinterCell4.exe" -ll

That's on a 64bit XP, on a 32 bit xp you just forget about the (x86) in the path. That should run.

It's kind of weird though, the first time I ran it with the 1.02 patch, I did it the normal way and not this way, and it worked. Then all of the sudden it started crashing so I ran it this way.
