so i bought a new case and PSU, but i didnt pay much attention to the psu wiring and got one without pre-sleeved cables. was all over town today to find sleeving kits but nowhere to be found Evil or Very Mad so, my question is, could i just use some black electric tape? does it have any disadventages besides looks? look doesnt matter much, since you dont see that much, just the part by the psu, most of the wires are behind the mb-mount thingy anyways...tia

Why sleeve them up in the first place. If you don't have a window on your pc and the wires can't obstruct the fans then just leave them loose.

i do have a window, i managed to hide all 4pins(molex?) wires behind the mb-mount where i also connected all 3 case fans, you dont see any molex wires at all. most problems i had with the 20pin cable. squeezed most of it over the psu and just used some clear duct tape so it looks a little better than all the wires tangling about near the mobo Wink

for 60$ canadian i couldnt resist Wink

You can use Electrical Tape, however make sure it's proper Electrical Tape and certified for use on electrical items, as some "Electrical Tape" can catch fire and burn at high temperatures as it's just some random tape. Also, the downside of the Electrical Tape is that it is rather sticky when you take it off after it's been on for a while, and it won't come off without some serious cleaning of the cables from your PSU so bare that in mind if you ever planned to switch to proper cable sleeving.

By the way, nice case Smile
