Fuel is the next and last title for the xbox. Games like Starcraft: Ghost (cancelled) will never see the light of day, even though they made us wait and wait for it.
Why is it that such a powerful console is being kicked the side, replaced by better visuals, tearing, framerate issues to hell and back and all round lacklustre games....... while the PS2, even though it's successor is out, is still enjoying some AAA titles on the horizon.
I love my 360, but cannot understand why the xbox is being put down so damn quickly. PS2 came out first (dreamcast aside) and will even last the longest in the market.
I don't hate xbox, i'm just pissed that it's being abandoned so quickly.

hear, hear! I fully embrace the 360 , but are shocked and saddened by the premature demise of the Xbox, long live the Xbox! If only in memory, you will never leave that hollowed place in our hearts

yeah it's really a pity. microsoft did get quite some heat for releasing the xbox360 so soon after the release of the original xbox, essentially killing it off prematurely. It definitely had potential left.
But oh well, I have a modchip in mine so I'm still gonna use it for a long long time. It's just so nice having an xbox with a huge HDD that can play pretty much any video file.

My original xbox still holds a place in my Media room. XBMC is still my best option for streaming from my multimedia server. And even though i love Amped 3, it didnot replace amped 2, which i still almost play daily. Heck i havent even finished black yet.

I heard rumours of this site being very X-box biased, the rumours must be true .... I do own a X-Box and Ps2 and am gonna buy a X-Box 360 at xmas .... but to me the X-Box died about 3 years ago, maybe it's just the kind of games I like PES 6, Winning 11, RPGS, and metal gear kinda games and being so used to using a Sony controller ...... I have about 3 games that I ever finished for the X-Box

And than came the 360, which I bought this March...oh, wait, it's not the same one I bought...THIS IS MY THIRD XBOX360 becuase the last 2 were death ringed!

Same, well my 360 only death ringed once. But i've had my original Xbox for ages and it got put through hell when I lived in a house with 8 other people yet, I also chipped it myself. Yet it still works fine.
I love my 360, and as long as I get it replaced for free each time it's just a 40 minute walk there and back to a shop to get it replaced (fucking heavy though!) so it's only an inconvenience. Still, it's sloppy manufacturing by microsoft, I expect my console to last.

so this proves that the xbox360 is a unfinished console , never again will i buy a new console , better to wait 1-2 years after the premiere to buy a fully tweaked bug free version |

I agree with you there, the only problem with waiting is: the chances are, later models may not be hackable/moddable etc

be fair, pro evo is on xbox too....winning eleven is pro evo
rpg's are far better cattered for on the pc
and most stealth games are available 4 xbox
i have all last gen systems and have only got my ps2 for a few exclusives but there arent that many that i really ever play.....gt4, katamari's, gow & ratchet n clanks
