Seems to be a lot of rumours flying around concerning this,
i pre ordered mine 2 weeks ago from argos b-ham and have had a automted phone call ( tonight around 6pm) saying i will get this on release date ( 8th dec).
Also heard reports of people who pre ordered months ago have had an automated call saying they will NOT recieve one on release date .
Couple that with the rumours that its all based on location NOT pre order date , seems pretty shitty service from argos.
ordered on 20th October the day it went Live for pre-orders, no phone call so got Mrs to phone and the guy checked my order and said delivery for Friday - although Mrs said he didn't sound to confident, so who knows
But yeah it seems Argos and a few others have been hit by a late delivery that has got stuck in germany. It seems Argos had 22,000 pre-orders and now only have 18,000 to give out for launch.
Game has been hit also, along with Amazon, HMV and woolworths
Argos suck, after being told by e-mail that would be getting one today last week and to expect a call for delivery, and again phoning them erly this week and also being told the same then had automated phone call 2 days later to be told i won't be getting till next Wednesday. When asked how their allocation was being sent they said "1st come 1st served"
Bullshit is it,
i pre-ordered 20th October and yet people as late as 4 weeks later have had the phone call to say theirs is being delivered today
