I just got a HD TV with my Xbox 360, now I want a cable so I can use my TV as an alternative screen. But I don't want to use S-Video and my tv manual says to use a D-SUB cable to connect between my TV and my computer. Thing is, i'm a total retard when it comes to cables and such, can anyone direct me what to use? It wasn't specified more than that in the manual.

I was thinking perhaps this one would work:
VGA cable HD15ha/ha - 5,0m
HighQuality VGA connection

But if I used that one, I wouldn't get an alternative screen, as I wouldn't be able to connect my computer screen at the same time. -_- And i'm not even sure that's a D-SUB cable, i'm just guessing here.

So uh, if that's the one, is it my only option or will I have to get a VGA Splitter to have both of my screens on at the same time? If so, is there no other way to have both screens connected at the same time using a D-SUB cable? I only have one VGA output on my computer.

Sorry for being a total cable-illiterate.
