Hi,
I'm living in Thailand so it's hard to talk to the shops about what I want and what they are offering, so I'm asking for help here.
Now they are offering me a 360 that has been modified and plays all copy games, is that possible ?? I don't think I have to do anything using my computer, I don't have to downoad the games either as they sell them for only $5 with the original covers.
But the version I want to buy is the 20Gb basic model, what am I missing with this version, and what do you use the Hard drive for anyway ?? Is it only for save games ?? Then I'm sure 20gb would be enough right !?!?

So what I'm saying is it possible to buy a 360 fully modified so that you can run copy games with out doing anything by computer yourself ......

And what about X-Box live, the Thais said it's ok to play on Live, but is it really ?? They would say anything just to get me to buy it so I can't really trust them.

ALso I got a 43"rear projection tv that has progressive scan, is that good enough to play most of the games .... I wont be dl games as they are too big and not worth it when can buy the game on disc for $5.

Thanks for your help in advance

It's possible. If you're going to buy the games at the market then you don't need to do anything yourself on your pc. I've been to Thailand on vacation, and on Koh San Road in Bankok and the other markets you can pick up copied games for almost nothing.

2$ and 5$, WTF?!

In Sweden a new game costs around 400-500 SEK, and that's hm... 65$ probably.

Yeah original games here are usually more expensive than in the Us or Uk cos they have to be imported, but no one buys originals here, that's why the 360 and Playstation 3 will never get an official release here in Thailand.

The Thai government don't do fuck all about piracy, in every huge shopping mall in Bangkok there are about 10 video game shops selling pirate games, Dvds everything right in the open, not under the counter stuff.

Pantip Plaza is the best place for Computer stuff, but if you come again go to Saphan Lek for the cheapest place in Bangkok for anything electrical, I went last week and there were about 10 Playstation 3's just on show playing games, don't know how much they had in stock as well !?!
