YAY! Very Happy
The dvdscr is out and i can't believe the imdb rating (although is from about 350 votes...) being 8,7 Laughing

I wonder if it's as good as the first one...

And the new one has Van Damme and Lundgren Cool plus the UFC guy.

Oh boy that was pretty bad, b movie all the way, the old faces of Dolph and Jcvd didn't help much getting this out of the b category.

My god, Dolph and Claude are old. Literally old farts.

The movie was quite good for watching as an action flick. But as an US sequel... it sucked. It was like half melodrama of Luc.

No, but there were so many clunky movies that were so stupid, yet we liked them. Beverly Hills Cop? Laughing (Actually 80s but still)
If most of the beloved action classics were released today, they would have been considered so shit and probably come STV.

Right. At least back then, while everything was tongue in cheek, humor was much more mature. Not this kids bullshit we have today.

i thought Hangover was pretty much tongue and cheek as u describing

sorry but i was never big fan of BHC, but i did liked Golden Child and Coming to America, in fact probably the only decent movies Murphy ever did

i've never considered Transformers as a movie art, in fact it's just as a joke as gi joe and so on, joke as of not a funny one, there is still tones of eu movies made each year which deserve bigger audience and awards than they actually get, hey but what do we know it's all bout hollywood and explosions atm

Well. It's always that movie sequels look worse than originals we saw back in golden 80s. Must be something with the memories and how we perceive movies younger.

My god, is it really me, but watching it again, Dolph is REALLY old. Like a grandfather Razz

Lol yea. I, too, couldn't understand most of what he said when he was with the kids.
Guess he really needed that lobotomy with shotty Razz

And you could see he really exhausted himself when he wasted that terrorist leader Very Happy

the first one back in 1992 had a budget of $23 mln usd, while this one had $14 mln usd. also looking at the inflation thats been happening within this 17 years id say they actually managed to spend money wisely with this sequel. a nice b-category movie.
its quite clear as to why this one was cheaper. it didnt feature that much explosions and pyrotechnics that definitely costs Razz

van damme moves were much faster than dolphs. camera work was clever by playing around dolph, though it was obvious how he wasnt able to be fast.

Holy crap the part where JCVD goes apeshit on the hostage takers is epic.

It was nicely shot, the blood on the camera lense was a nice touch and the knife part was pretty badass.

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
