Hated it. Oh my god. I couldn't stand this how. The humour was worthless. I think in all of the episodes I watched I laughed once. Sad

I never got the fascination people had with it.

It was so surreal and absurd, I thought it was compulsively good! The crazy characters and original cartoon style mixed with classical music and bizarre humour made for some great entertainment. Ren was the best. I loved it when he got stressed out and decided to get violent which usually ended up with Stimpy getting a beating lol. May the NFOrce be with you always.

I liked the way Stimpy put his undearwear on, it was so grotesque lol. There was an other cartoon with the same style, "Chicken & cow" I think.

Like the others just could not watch it. Usually I love stuff like it - Simpsons,Futurama etc. Ren+Stimpy is IMO like Family guy and Southpark - probably enjoyable by stoned Teenagers, but i found them both unfunny and totally vulgar. BTW anyone ever seen Robot Chicken? now that is vulgar

I absolutely love Ren and Stimpy. The mix of kiddie fart jokes and twisted adult humor underneath was a perfect combo, but apparently Nickelodeon didn't think so since they took it down for that reason. My favorite episode: "Space Madness", especially the bathroom scene with the Ren in the tub eating his ice cream. Classic. I completely love the animation. Since Ren and Stimpy closed down the Spümcø studio made couple of cool vidoes, one for Tenacious D http://www.tenaciousd.com/fhg.html and, and for Bjork . Being a fan of both bands and Spümcø these two are a real treat. I read somewhere long ago that John Kricfalusi (the creator of Ren and Stimopy show) liked to drop acid once in a while, and some of the episodes are a direct result of him doing that. I adore the show. I really like the humor. It's different the rest of the cartoon comedy shows. My fav episode is when Stimpy's fart, escapes and then tries to go back. Funny stuff.
