Hey i got MTW:2 and got some troubles installing it. Basically... nothing happens. A cmd window pops up and disappears. When i ran the setup.exe file in cmd a error stating "Program too big big to fit in memory". I got the files from a friend who has installed it with the same release (and plays it as i type this damnit Evil or Very Mad ).

Ive tried using both D-tools and Alcohol120%

I got a AMD 3000+, GF7800GT and 1024 RAM so i cant see how my hardware is the prob since the sysreq's are quite a bit lower.

Anyone else got this? Or more importantly, a solution?

Ha ha ha... I did the exact same thing. The problems is - you are trying to install the game from DVD 2. This game is 2 DVDs and you need to launch the install from the first DVD. =)
