Are you going there by helicopter ? .. be sure to get some shots of the edge of the waters .. i real wonder what it looks like .. where the dry hits the wet .. will it be polished or muddy ? Inly spent a short time around desert in the south west of America .. the Reo Grade probably looks a little different .. deserts are wild in that they are like an element unto themselves .. a biosphere of minimalism & emptiness .. an ocean of nothing ..

The only good thing I can say about the southern desert is that Rambo 3 was shot there.

I love helicopters. They are great to ride in. Esp the smaller ones where you can see beneath your feet.

Hehehe Razz These are certainly not UFO's Razz I have them in other pictures as well, I think it's because of low quality films/bad scan.
Kumkss- LOL, if they find us drinking and such they send us home right away Razz It's only a 4-5 hours drive from there to Jerusalem(I'm going to Eilat which is located in the far south).
But on the last night we will be going to the city of Eilat to a club and a beach. And in the days before it we will play some drums(middle eastern drums) and just hang out with friends Smile Although it will be chilling at nights with freezing winds on a top of a bold mountain.

Chinup - No, the helicopters only gave us an amazing air show on that specific trip several years ago. Though it was really crazy! apparently the pilot was in practice and he have done some crazy maneuvers over our heads.
And what do you mean about taking pictures of the edge of the water? The beaches have no sand. The beach is covered by lots of tiny stones covering the whole of it.

I like the desert a lot more than I like the north of the country which has a totally different climate (Snow on the peaks(only one peak Razz), woods and etc.)
The desert just so pwns, I just love it when you walk for hours and see nothing but yellowish mountains and then suddenly you are on a cliff that from there you can see the sea or distant lands Smile

When I was at schools, I was always wasted during those trips
Can't imagine an evening like that without weed or booze.
You Negev seems a bit too rocky for me :[

LOL, you are so predictably negative. Razz

I have hiked in the desert once, Arizona. I got heat stroke. For me, I am more of a dense rain forest type of person but the desert has it’s beauty as well. Dry places make me feel parched and thirsty. Dead sea mud is suppose to be good for the skin.

@Parallax_
What kind of racing. Those wind surfers on wheels, or dune cars?

I've been to a whole park in France called featuroscope had like 20 buildings like this which had much bigger screens, bottom monitors, panoramic monitors, moving chairs and etc.

Btw: how did you know about it?
