Anybony seen the series Jericho? Is it any good? the plot seems nice, some post-nuclear battle for survival..
any thoughts?

I very much recommend it, it's a low-key approach to a post-nuclear world where the inhabitants of the city Jericho has to struggle with just surviving and their everyday lives during and after the fallout. The acting and everything is all down-to-earth and old-fashioned, brilliant, and the characters are just loveable.
After watching it for a few episodes you also understand that there is something bigger going on behind the scenes. I'm not gonna reveal what has happened so far, and frankly it is not that much since only 8 episodes of the first season has aired so far, but it is a very good show to watch.

I watch this too. I downloaded the first 3 episodes in one go and watched them one after the other. It is certainly no Prison Break or Lost but it is entertaining enough. Fairly slow and boring but I am keen to see where it goes so I watch it every week.

its teh suck.
The first episode is nice, second one and third one. Then it gets boring. I mean really boring. Its like merlose place and macgyver compined. Only interesting character is the black guy, who "knows" something.
This serie got the potential to become one of the best series ever. But they have lost their direction, you could really get a lot more of serie which happens in a time of nuclear war.
Play fallout instead of watching this.

I't s a drama series, and from that perspective I find it interesting. The newest episode had some action in it, and a few of the previous episodes also did... but this is no action-series where everything blows skyhigh....
Lost their direction? It is only 7 episodes in, but ever since episode one there has been a clear direction of what the characters do.
Sure, this is no Lost or Prison Break, but it has none of the annoying features these shows cast. Jericho doesn't have any logical flaws, flashbacks, or anything like that.

Well, it's not supposed to be Prison Break or Lost. Completely different things. Lost and Prison Break are totally unrealistic action or whatever shows. Jericho is not. You can't even compare.

Yeah, jericho is the realistic one.
You are in a town, you dont see any army forces ( except some nukes going on the sky ) everywhere. Only messages what you get is some black dude hacking with his EMP-shielded laptop, who wont reveal any information to everyone.
Then some chinese takes over your tv broadcasting, not to mention usa wouldnt have any emergency tv broadcast. You can yet surf to internet, but you have to use morsecoding to talk someone.
Instead of going to find out whats going on, and yet knowing that your country is in war, your biggest problem seems to be who stole that soda-can and how is my daughter going to grow up now when i shouted her while i was angry.

How many episodes did you say you have seen numero? And were you drunk when watching them? 
I put everything in a spoiler in case somebody has yet to see the show:
Jericho and the army:
 Spoiler: | The town is Jericho and is in Kansas. Why are there no army forces? First of all, most of them could have been whiped out already. Second of all, are their top-most priority a small town like Jericho? I don't think so. |
About the "black dude" (his name is Robert Hawkins, played by Lennie James):

"What's going on?"
| Spoiler: | This is not 24, this ain't some series focused on big-ass US-wide problems, it is about the people of Jericho. And what would you do first and foremost? That's right, make sure you town is running, that everyone is having what they need. No, your biggest problem is not who stole a soda-can, but that secondary story in that episode also creates new relationships between some of the inhabitants. It's a nuclear post-war scenario, it's a new situation for everyone.
Now if you actually paid attention, you would know that the mayor, the police, and other citizen are finding out what is happening out there. They sent people out to search for survivors in different cities and stuff. It is now very clear that FEMA is going about doing their business, and there is some group of mercenaries called Ravenwood hired by the government to help them clean up (with some of them going rampant).
I won't go into anymore details, if you like this show just sit back and enjoy it. More information will come to you as the inhabitans of Jericho go about their business. This is not a smoke-and-mirrors-show like Lost. |

yea i agree, but luckily for me i didnt start watching jericho until episode 10 so i got to see the first 9 back to back one day.

yea i agree, but luckily for me i didnt start watching jericho until episode 10 so i got to see the first 9 back to back one day. |
Me too, though it took me some days, still wasn't convinced after the first few.

Hahahaha, this series is such a joke, horrible sound-editing, mostly worthless actors, and really horribly laid out.
Walker: Texas Ranger seems like Oscar-material compared to this trash.
