I'm really tempted to buy this Archos portable video player with a DVR cradle.
I have no idea how the device will store recorded media. This wiki article also mentions copy protection when the device is used to record DVDs.
So here are the questions for anyone who might know:
Is it easy to copy recorded content?
Is the stuff I record from digital cable or satellite copy protected?
And if the media is copy protected is there some way around it?
