It's bullshit, unless they're only banning a handful of people for now which would be pointless. Either way, if they really were banning 360s from Live you'd be reading a lot more about it - the Xbox Scene forums would be full of people whining for starters.

I'm on Live right now with my xbox, but I'm in europe and that news there says it's only happened in the US so far. so either it's really just a rumor, or maybe it only affects a specific firmware? oh well I don't really care my free xbox live month runs out tomorrow anyway
