I don't think youre brain works differntley. People only take what they throw at them.
I like an even better version: One picture, cut in half and notice the difference

Nah way easier to remember with this, you can just drag back and forth to look at the exact same spot. no need to remember coordinates like with two images, like one above and then one below that you must switch between. you will not have such perfect recollection that you can see where there might be a tiny difference of maybe some millimeters or whatever. here you can focus your eyes on one exact spot.
For a more overall comparison two images can be better, where you don't care about the finer details.
