I have downloaded the cabon demo and got the directx29.dll error so i download the file and ut it in the system dir. After that when i start the demo i get the following error. Normally on old games you could handle this error with putting the exe in win2000 modes.. But i tried it and it didnt work. Can some1 ls hel me! Thank in advance

Have you run the dxsetup.exe inside the directx folder that came with the demo?

I can get into the game and get kicked to desktop as soon as i begin to load up a race Every other game in the world works. THANKS E.A.!

This EA crap Calls Home ... simply block it with your fire wall and the game will start ... worked for me

Try reinstalling direct x dust.

Thanks guys got it working, actually the problem was turning up all the gfx settings to max Set them to crappy default and it launched fine. Totally not worth it! Cheers
