I noticed the shows skip, like csi, in media player, is there a better program to use or a fix for this?

If it skips your processor is most likely too slow.Check your cpu usage during play in task manager, if it hits 100% that's your problem...if it doesn't, install cccp and use one of the players included!

alternatively you could try coreavc, it's the fastest/least cpu intensive avc/h264 decoder but it's not free...

yea try it, it's the best one out if you have a rather weak cpu.

CoreAVC uses 70% less CPU than most of the decoders out there.

if your using CCCP go into FFDShow video decoder and disable H.264, that will disable the use of their codec and it will use CoreAVC. I'd recommend the pro version as well then watch it in Windows Media Classic |
