Doesn't work for me.
Installs Ok, but when launching it crashes after the movie. The crack has been copied over.
Dialog Box title=The Sims 2. With a red x and an OK button. No description.
I HAD the base Sims2 installed and successfully working as well as all other expansions.
But now if I launch any of those it says 'you are running the wrong version of The Sime 2. Please run The Sims 2 Pets instead'
I took a snapshot before the install, so I will revert to it.

Any1 else having this issue?

I get a message say please insert cd 4 of sims 2 when it goes to complete install. Needs to look for updates. I have dvd. no cd's anyone else had this?

just use the dvd, its a specific file the installer's looking for, so there wont be any problems.

And also, try using the normal sims2.exe in the original game's folder to start the game.

Note, im not playing sims, but my little sister is.

I didnt get it to work using the dvd (when it asked for cd4) so I just downloaded cd4 Smile

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
