Well, me and 3 other mates drove to Sweden, on one of those regular 'harry' trips to Sweden, to shop stuff. And I know you guys in Sweden got a pretty stright rule on alcohol, max in food shops are 3.5%. So the question is, can't you buy anything above that when you're 18 in Sweden. Not even enter 'Systembolaget'?

Didn't really know this. Its upto 22% in Norway, and norwegian agelimit and swedish prices on the boat, so did my alcohol shpoping there.

Anyway, real nice roads... and speedlimits in Sweden, got to love knowing if you get pulled over you don't loose your licence as fast as in Norway ^^

Denmark next time Wink

40% Absolute is teh cheap in Denmark Very Happy

Moved from Norway to Sweden about 1.5 year ago and I must say I miss Norway in many ways.... especially when it comes to MONEY!

I have around 23732€ per year. I pay 30% tax.
When I move back to Norway early next year I wil have around 35501€ and pay 24.5% tax.

There are a few things that is cheaper in Sweden, like cigarettes, alcohol etc. Also apparements are cheaper (not renting). But this does not in any way makes it economically better to live in Sweden.

There are also too much paper work in Sweden. If you get sick over a long time you might have trouble getting money the first month, as things take time here, so the best thing is to be married or live with someone who can help out if things isn't going your way. You also have to pay 43€ each month in case you loose your job, if you are to get anything. In Norway this is covered by tax.

Maybe not the biggest differences but I preffer Norway by far.

"Harry" trips are ok, just don't be too long. And remember that girls in Norway are generally fatter than girls in Sweden so you might wanna grab a few and import them Razz

That sounds like you like to live off other people (women)? Or perhaps it is an influence in your relationship selection?

Wasn't meant like that, the point is that it's a thin line between good/bad economy in Sweden, so for safety reasons one should have family etc. in case things doesen't go as planned.

If things doesnt go as planned you will always get money to survive, and its more paperwork in norway just so you know it. Swedes even get warned if their planning to move to norway becouse of the paperwork and time things take compared to here.
