I hate dentists 
I had the first step of a root canal done today and my mouth is in so much pain
She gave me wicked painkillers, but they dont kill the pain, they get me nice and high...no pain relief tho 
What do you guys think? Do you like dentists?

This is really weird. I had to go this morning. Did I post that somewhere or did I PM it to someone? weirddddd.
I don't mind the dentist. I had braces so I am used to people poking around in my mouth. I feel gross after and I can't stand that grit that is left on your teeth. I have all my teeth even my wisdom teeth. (That is why I am soo smart)
I got a new toothbrush. A mini toothpaste, and a cute little pocket dental floss.
I have to get a crown on one tooth cuz I cracked it 2 yrs ago and it hurts sometimes for a while and than goes away. So I am getting it fixed.
I go to the dentist every 5-6 months.
Never had a root canal but I didn't think they hurt too much.

root canals are the worst thing you can have done. Alot of pain. Not during the procedure, but now my mouth is fuckin killing me. The freezing is gone and even with good painkillers, its hurtin bad now.
And, Im a sissy when it comes to my teeth and pain 
You have to get the samething done i do. weird.
I have to get the root canal, then get a crown. I cracked my tooth and the samething has been happening. Severe pain occasionally....
But i also have to get a lil bit of my gum removed so the crown will sit properly.
That shit is prolly going to hurt bad

i had a root canal when i was younger.
they gave me the sleep gas so i dont know if it hurt or not.
also remember when i was 8 or so, my father took me to the dentist and said if im tough and dont get upset when they stick my gums with the needle, ill get the new optimus prime
i got the new optimus prime.

that shit doesnt work for me at all.
They put me on it today and by the time they started, the thing was cranked all the way up and I didnt feel anything.
I mean, I'd get a nice body wave when i took a nice deep breath but thats it.
I swear, I have a high tolerance for drugs (i dont mean illegal drugs, medicinal shit).
Normal tylenol from the store (ultra strength or not) doesnt do anything for me when i have a headache or am in pain.
For T3's to work I have to take like 6...and takin alot of tylenol 3 is bad for your stomach and liver.
Thats why I always have to ask for serious painkillers.
Its weird tho, I know people who arent lightweights and it only take 2 t3's to knock them out. I wish tylenol and regular pain medication would work for me.
It looks bad asking for heavy duty painkillers you know?
My dentist and i go way back so with her its good cause she knows im not sellin them or anything, but my doctor is another story...always giving me bullshit tylenol 3's...
Why give me something that makes me sick and isnt effective when she could give me half the amount of pills of oxycontin which is 100x better than t3's and it doesnt rot your stomach.
Doctors are fucked sometimes.

I think this is a question for compubrain. Mr pharmaceutical.
From my experience T3’s do nothing to get me high. The are traded on the street because I believe they help withdrawal symptoms but I don’t know for sure. I know Atavan is used for DTT’s or what ever it is called.

its been atleast 6 years since i went to the dentist. dont have any holes, just one tooth that has misgrown and has leaned back into my mouth so theres a bit of a gap (second on the left)

I think your dentist sucks, SycoShaman... I had 2 root canal done this year and both were 4 sessions and i felt no pain whatsoever, not even past the effect of anestesia. Didn't put a crown, though, too expensive. 600 euro, i think. So he reconstructed my teeth with some strange stuff, you can't even tell the difference.
Some dentists just don't know how to fix people's teeth so my guess is that you should try another one... It's normal to feel some disconfort in the tooth after you fix it, but hurting like hell? I don't think so...

I dunno man. Everyone ive talked to who's had a root canal done before said it was painful for them. I guess its not painful for everyone still.
But like i said, Im a big pussy when it comes to pain in my teeth. I take being punched in the face and shit...but tooth pain is untolerable for me  |

I had a root canal done last year, hurts like hell
I had 8 teeth filled at the same time, so you can imagine how it felt 
Did you get the roots emptied yet? |

Oxycontin is way too strong for toothache, that stuff can actually kill you.
You just have a high tolerance to drugs, you need to take a higher dosage to achieve the same effect. |

Thats where they clean it out right? Ive had that done. Now there is like antibiotic filling in the tooth and shit and I have to go back in a couple of weeks to have the dr finish it.
Oxycontin isnt that strong dude. Ive taken 5 40mg's at once before and aside from getting fucked up, nothing happened. |

I had root canal on a tooth that the dentist said was a difficult one.
Had about 3 sessions there and the final filling lasted about a month!!
I got used to the cavity as it didnt hurt. Went back to the dentist a year later only for another filling which lasted about a week he told me this time to avoid sticky food ffs!!!
Ive now had the tooth removed.
Root canal was the worst expereince I've had at the dentist.
