Ok so i've had my modded 360 for about a month now and so far i'm pretty damned happy with my purchase. I bought it out of bored and expected to sell it once the PS3 landed since i sold my Xbox within days of buying it. Thankfully i can say the opposite and i recommend anyone holding out for the over hyped/over priced PS3 to pick one up.
Anyway to my question, i've been hearing about people playing 360 games online with a modded system. I just have three questions.
1. Is this possible?
2. Can the firmware be detected and if so does it happen often?
3. Do i need originals or will backups work just aswell?
The main reason for me asking is i was going to buy a 360 HD since i got the core pack and the only way i've been able to justify the $100 investment is if i can play online games. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out.
