Since companies that send out spam normally provide a fake reply-to address, it would just create even more of a hassle for you. Also, in the cases where you actually DO reply, they usually send another, the end result will be that you will send X number of mails back (depending on how many that have an authentic reply-to) and receive Y numbers of additional ("Thank you for replying").
In the end it goes down to how much bandwidth you're willing to spend on doing this, and since you're fighting a bunch of "them", they will most probably win.
Install a spamfilter such as spamassassin, and you'll be rid of the pests anyway. (I believe a similar program for the win32-platform is called K9)

I was using mailwasher and it has the option to bounce e-mail. didn't seem to help me, but just wondered if it would help in the long run. fight fire with fire.

In this case it doesn't work, no.
Get a cheap Pentium 2 or something along that line, install gentoo, use it as a firewall, and allow it to fetch all your e-mail, it will then filter out all the bad e-mail, and you will never have a spam mail again (well, depending on how well you configure your filter).

And some standard emails will be filtered as spam, alot of "ok" emails are erased because the softtware thinks its spam.

Not if you add a list of e-mails that always will pass the filter.
