Some old space sim game?

I forgot the name of this game. Right at end of space shoters era there came one that had realistic space combat, with fairly big ship. It had inertion, free movement and similar stuff.
I belive there was a sequel also, but I realy can't remmember its name, so If anyone knows about it please let me know.

The game that had and still has the best space dogfights due to the physics in my opinion.

I got talking to one of the guys behind the I-war games a few years ago in a Sheffield pub. Nice bloke.

Never played I-War, and regardless of what anyone says I enjoyed I-War 2 a lot. But the best of hte best, the creme de la crop, will always be Freespace 2 to me.
