After updating to latest Nvidia 91.47 all went dark when using any video playback software.
Thought I was going nuts. I remembered this happened like 1 year ago and then it was the NV driver. So I reverted to 91.33 and behold all was ok.
Did some digging and found this in NVs forum.

"When I updated to the 91.47 force ware drivers my video playback (in any media player - all using the most current versions) was way too dark. If I increased the brightness everything would have a pink tinge to it. Basically, the 91.47 drivers made video playback unwatchable. I have switched back to the 91.31 drivers. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a screenshot before doing so.

I don't really care that much. But I thought I would post my problem here just to get the info out there.

Is there a place to report bugs on Nvidia's site?"

Any of you guys have the same with 91.47?

HA HA...NEVER!!!!!.
Anyho, updating the Nforce Chip set Drivers WORKED!
I have a A8N-SLI-Deluxe Mobo and I guess the drivers are from 2004-5 something.
If any of you guys have the same problem with the 91.47 check if you have a Nforce chip set. I used the 6.86_nforce_win2kxp_international_whql which is the latest.
Problem solved Smile

I have a 7800GTX 512kb. Well read the change log.

"WHQL Certified.

Includes the new NVIDIA Control Panel. Please visit the NVIDIA Control Panel website for more information.
New NVIDIA PureVideo features and enhancements. Please visit the NVIDIA PureVideo website for more information on PureVideo technology and system requirements.
Adds noise reduction post processing
Adds image sharpening post processing
Improved Inverse telecine algorithm
Improved de-interlacing algorithm
Improved compatibility with third party MPEG-2 decoders
Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0c and OpenGL® 2.0 support
For a full list of fixes issues, please view the release notes. "

You don't have that annoying pop up if you don't have SLI etc compared to the older driver 91.33 etc. If I understand you correct...did you ever update your Graphics Driver?, just asking.
