hi all

just wondering id you kind ppl will be able to help me out hear as its a last chance for me gfx card

ok heres my problem.
i recently bought a amd dualcore 4400+ cpu and this asrockdualsata2 motherboard so i hooked evertythink up cables leads etc and then put my geforce 6600gt in the agp slot pressed the power buttion and everything powers up and i can hear windows loading in the background but im getting no display on my moniter at all
so now i put my old radeon 9800se in the agp slot and everything powers on fine .
so now im thinking the 6600gt is dead so i put it in my dads computer guess what everythink powers up so why cant i get no display the card works on my dads computer so it aint dead and it also worked on my old p4pe motherboard aswell really annoying this
its as if its not waking my moniter up for some reason?

hope some1 can help as ive asked for help elsewhere and they dont know what it could be

heres my pc specs
amd 4400+dual core cpu
asrock dualsata2 motherboard
1.5 gig of ram
600 watt psu
geforce 6600gt agp 128 meg gfx card and radeon 9800se 128 meg agp card

Are you using a crt monitor?
Do you have a dvi adapter so you can plug the monitor into the dvi port on the graphics card, try that and see if it helps.
Also make sure you have it set in the bios to use pcie not agp graphics first

lol have u seenj the asrock compactabillity lists hopless theres none for agp cards and 5 cards listed for pci-e pathetic customer service

yeah ive got the latest version of me bios velum nothing works though

i personally think its an agp voltage problem is there a way to increase the vootage on the agp slot on this card ppl?

I used to have that board until I upgraded to a DFI and I never had any problems with it. Here is a link to a forum that deals with that board and they might be able to help you.

been reading that alot meself lately m8 but cant find any answers ive done absolutly everythink to try and get this working but no luck at all i think im going to throw this fucking peice of shit out of the window its driving me in fucking sane lol
