This is basically what replaces Prince of Persia now. It's from the same team and it kind of has similar gameplay mechanics.
I especially like how the team puts emphasis on animation, so all the moving and stuff is going to be jawdropping. They already demonstrated that feature in their first pre-rendered trailer.
Anyway, looks awsome.
E: And don't be too sad if you're not planning to get a PS3, it's going to be multiplatform for sure. It's Ubi's next big thing, do you really think they're going to limit it for PS3 only? And sources say it has been seen running on different hardwares (PC, XBOX360) - the game was already up and running before PS3 hardware was finalised. Ubi has worked a long time on it.

according to IGN:
News of Assassin's Creed's PC arrival appears in early copies of UK magazine PC Gamer, which subscribers received over the weekend.

if its like prince of persia,as mentioned,it is a jump´n´run...
as i heard prince of persia i saw red and if its anything near that it will be crap...graphics aren´t anything!

what?? 2007 its a PS3 exclusive,and i will not buy this expensive piece of SONY- crap!
somewhere stands a PC release comes 1 year later...and 2007+1 is 2008
maybe it gets anounced for 2007...but it wouldn´t be the 1. title that will be delayed for a couple of months!

the GTA series were also PS2 exclusive....and later the series came to PC and XBOX!
so what...it includes a general 2007 release but you will see it wont come out in 2007 for PC!
if i´m wrong i give you a beer or 2!

"some day" could also mean summer 2012!

I'd say chances are higher that this will be delayed than not looking at game history. 
Factor in that its a console conversion it's probably gonna blow monkeybubbles aswell  |
its a next gen console conversion.most likely those will be loads better than out of date console conversions. |
