it depends which type it is if its one of those crappy clones u have to be special to get working then they should be nuked!
if its the version where you get the tiny clone file to mount and have to disable the ide channel your cd drives are on then great! it will work one anyones pc who is smart enough to know how to use there bios to disable cd drives
BTW, NFORCE not suporting the workaround that involves mounting the 60-80kb file? its no more difficult than copying over an exe imho.
should be classed as a proper workaround seeing as in nearly all case's you dont need to wait for cracked game updates etc its probably better than cracks.

Nforce suports normaly scene stuff O wait I forgot thats right Nforce is the scene LOL , same thing when people post a release and others say its not on the main page well IMO WHO fucking cares

Disabling your IDE in the bios works in the same way so no you don't have to unplug..

i have disabled my cd/dvd but windows still sees my dvd/cd players.
i have a asus p4p800 motherboard and i put my cd/dvd players on not installed

You need to disable your ide channel.
Its in Intergrated Peripherals

does this also work with Toca Race Driver 2 ??? i mean without using the Network manner, only unpluging cd and dvd and mounting cds with daemon tools ??

Only works with cd games .i thought toca2 was released on cd in Polen .

Don't know about the rest of you, but Soldiers MiniImage works if I simply disable my cdrw from BIOS on my Dell. It's a PITA, but it's better than nothing. If you have other CDs you use regularly, just dump them on the HD and mount them as necessary if you don't feel like restarting.

there was a link to the mini image file in the soldiers thread somewhere around page 6 i think.
dont know if mod's saw it and removed it or not
