Well, I thought i was doing ok with these dvd to avi converts then I started to watch them and to my suprize audio was waaaay off sync with the video. This seems to be a common problem but I havent read of real concrete remedies. I ripp my movies using dvd decrypterand then convert with autogk. One thing that I didnt do was select Ifo in dvd decrypter but I am not sure if selecting that would solve my sync problem or not. Just curious if any1 has a fix 4 this. Doom9 is too tech.

I use convertx to convert and burn and every film I download now, I run through vlc, you can adjust the audio track by 100ms at a time then when you are happy, you just tell convertx how much to advance or retard the audio track before burning.
