I've always wondered this..do you think someone throws darts at a dart board, or just smokes a lot of crack before deciding on "similar games" that get listed on gamespot game entries.
For example, supposedly Diablo 2:LoD is a similar game to Space Rangers 2.
What is more interesting is a similar game to "Over the Hedge" is Lula 3D. yes..when kids go to read up on the latest cartoon movie game, they get direct to check out Lula 3D.

it could just be a tagging system that brings up games with the largest amount of common tags.
but really who cares? there's billions of game review sites out there, pick one that works for you.

No, but I rarely see games that are "similar" on those lists.
It just seems to boggled my mind, and I think the job of deisigning that feature was given to someone's retarded cousin. Anytime you have a kid game listing an adult game like Lula 3D as a "similar" game, something isn't working right..
