35. Kirk Hammett - Metallica <-- I thought he should be higher too.

There are some people that can play things that others can't, but there are also those which can make a new sound and do new things. For me Kirk Hammett in bettery is insane but it's no surprise hendrix is number one.

Criteria: - Guitarists are ranked for their impact, influence, creativity, versatility,
originality, technical skill and lasting popularity in the genre of Rock guitar.

This is why Zappa being so low is upsetting. He excells greatly in all of the criteria.

I would give a higher rank on this one as well.

Obviously, noone ever heard Children of Bodom quitarist Rolling Eyes

Now comment on this:

First joke 65. Lars Ulrich (Metallica)

Yea, I thought i'd made a past about it anyway.

It seems like he gets floods of bands really. I'm not saying this is the exact logic, but he'll say.... think of a band for example metallica, then he'll rank them. And then maybe think of another band for example audioslave, then nirvana etc. he'll go through the list and then he's just edited it a bit for the 'big names'. I can understand why some people are where they are, but when you get clusters or 2 or 3 band members within 10 places of each other things start to get a bit fishey.

1.Hendrix -> who else
39. Frank Zappa -> switch it with Clapton and obey
135. Thurston Moore -> Noise & the beauty of melodies (catch it live - HYPNOTIC!!!)
???. Kurt Cobain -> try to shoot your brain out with a guitar... not so easy Wink

problem with those lists...

Tony Iommi not in top ten? Then you KNOW something is wrong.

And don't get me started on the drumlist. Tomas Haake (of Meshuggah) isn't even on the list.

Lists are always a joke, but this isn't even fun.

... but even worse, it releases satan.
